Since inception, the group has developed a number of innovative products and solutions for foundry & related industries to meet the needs of customers. About Magna Industries Foundry Division
Magna Industries Foundry Division is an IATF 16949:2016 certified company and a part of Samarth Magna Group. We are a leading manufacturer of medium to high volume, small to medium sized machined Castings in Cast Iron (CI), Ductile Iron (SGI) and Silicon Moly Ductile Iron (SiMo). Our customers include major players in Hydraulic applications, EGR systems, Power Transmission, Lifts & Conveyers and automotive sector. Our team, infrastructure & processes are capable of producing intricate Cast Iron and Ductile Iron Castings with high precision. For meeting the challenges, Magna Foundry Team uses its ability of fast development, its flexible manufacturing approach and supporting infrastructure. To offer a unique advantage of shortening the lead time for our customers as well as end users, Magna Foundry has in-house machining facility which is again designed to cater to a variety of weight, size and volume requirements.
Magna Foundry uses Shell Moulding Process to ensure high dimensional accuracy, excellent surface finish and clean internal passages in all our products. We are equipped with modern facilities like Core Shooters, Moulding Machines, Induction Melting, Spectrometer, Internal shot blasting, Mechanical testing equipment, casting inspection facilities like Endoscopy, Microstructure testing, Hardness testing, Leakage testing and CMM for machined component inspection. We also have reliable local tie-ups for services like Honning, Casting coating, Heat treatment etc.

Malhar Bhandurge
A Metallurgical engineering graduate from reputed COEP College of Engineering,Pune in 1985 and postgraduate diploma in Business and Systems management from Mumbai university with specialization in Iron Metallurgy, operations, castings defects diagnosis and marketing. He is on the council body of IIF Kolhapur chapter, CII southern region, Govt Polytechnic college and a member of Indo German chamber of commerce and EEPC,India.
Sunil Battase
He has specialised in Chemical Technology at UDCT Mumbai while pursuing graduation. Along with his core mastery in foundry sand binders and development of resin coated sand, he also adds grace to the management bandwidth of Samarth Group with his administration skills and operational expertise of ISO certification. Many a well-known foundries take his expert council for Process control and improvisation.
Sanjay Karkhanis
A technology graduate from India's premier institute at Kanpur (IIT) in Metallurgy. At Samarth group he oversees Casting defect analysis, foundry processes such as methoding and metal filtration, and development of resin coated sand. By the virtue of analytical thinking and methodical implementation he has been hailed by National Centre for Technical Services (NCTS) as its Member of expert panel. Many a well-known foundries take his expert council for Process control and improvisation.
Sanjay Jahagirdar
A metallurgical engineering graduate from reputed COEP College of Engineering,Pune in 1987 with specialisation in Green sand systems, defects diagnosis and marketing.
